Ashot Dumanyan is a professional violinist, music contractor, and string arranger who specializes in engaging live entertainment. With over a decade of orchestral experience, Ashot has performed at premier concert venues around the globe, including Carnegie Hall, Dolby Theatre, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, and Boston Symphony Hall. Currently, he is the concertmaster of Voce dell'Orchestra in Los Angeles and recently released his third single, available on all music streaming platforms.
Classically-trained with a Master's of Music in Violin Performance, Ashot brings his cultured background, musicianship, and extensive experience into hundreds of weddings and special events throughout Southern California.
As co-founder of Enchanted Strings, Ashot takes pride in providing concierge-level service to clients seeking premier entertainment, quality, and dependability.

No, Ashot performs with an acoustic violin only. Amplification will be added for enhanced sound.

Yes! Our standard package includes unlimited music planning with a dedicated coordinator and up to 2 special song requests. Any song that is not included in our repertoire is considering a special song request.
Custom song arrangements are not included in our packages and are subject to additional fees.

Yes, violin solo performances include backing tracks to achieve the full sound of accompanying instruments.
Acoustic performances (no amp and/or no backing tracks) should be disclosed and agreed upon in advance, preferably prior to booking.
We kindly request that any sound/speaker/equipment restrictions from the venue also be communicated prior to booking.

For amplification, we require the availability of a working power supply in close proximity to the performance area. For outdoor events, FULL overhead shade is required (umbrella, tent, gazebo, etc.). In fall and winter months with temperatures below 65°, a portable heater is required and greatly appreciated.
In addition, every musician should be provided with armless chairs and adequate and comfortable space of at least 4 feet x 4 feet. For harp instrument, all performance areas must have ramp or elevator access (no steep hills or stairs) and grounds must be dry, level and flat. Access to a nearby loading dock will be necessary.

Choosing between a solo violinist or an ensemble may be based on your musical needs and preferences, as well as your budget.

We strongly prefer to work with our carefully vetted network of musicians and vocalists that we have already built a strong rapport with. Professional experience and familiarity between musical artists is very important, as it ensures a smooth and high-quality performance for all involved.
With that being said, we reserve the right to respectively decline collaborations and cooperation with unaffiliated groups and individuals.

Ashot Dumanyan is available throughout most of Southern California, including Greater Los Angeles, Conejo Valley, Ventura County, Orange County, Inland Empire, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez Valley, Malibu, and Palm Springs.
Popular wedding destinations we service include Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Simi Valley, Westlake Village, Moorpark, Montecito, Ojai, Los Olivos, Riverside, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Beach and Rancho Palos Verdes. Open to destination weddings upon request.
Certain locations and non-LA County venues may require a 2 hour minimum.

Quoted rates depend on a variety factors including the date of the event, the location, and the number of musicians that are requested. Please use the contact form to receive a customized quote.

Sure, but the 1 hour minimum rate will still apply for all bookings.
Even short wedding ceremonies or quick marriage proposals require considerable time and effort to prepare for, drive to, and setup for.

Yes, we are insured and can provide a COI to the venue, if requested. This is at no additional cost to clients, unless the venue’s requirements falls outside the scope of our standard insurance policy.
