Many individuals come to him in hopes of unlearning years of incorrect techniques. Repatterining muscle memory is strenuous and counterproductive and can generally be avoided with a quality instructor. Ashot’s undivided attention to detail and personalized lessons are second to none.

Private lessons may be held at your residence or at Ashot’s apartment studio located in Woodland Hills, CA. Face masks and hand sanitation are required for all in-person lessons. For your safety, all common surfaces will be disinfected between students.

Lessons can be booked in durations of 30 mins, 45 mins and 60 mins, once or twice a week. Ashot will help determine which length is best based on the age, level, and needs of the student.

Yes, not but not for beginners. Virtual lessons are available through Zoom or FaceTime to accommodate non-local students and as an extra supplement for intermediate and advanced students. Learning proper posture with the guidance of an instructor is a vital component of beginner-level violin lessons, therefore, virtual lessons are strongly discouraged in the early phases of learning and should generally be avoided.

Ashot embraces the unique challenges that come with teaching a variety of ages and levels and supporting the achievable goals of each student.

Ashot has entry-level violins available for monthly rental as an added convenience for beginner students.
