Violin Sizing Chart
Most teenagers and adults will need a 4/4 full size, while children will need to be measured for fractional sizes. Refer to the chart for a rough sizing guide (credit: Johnson String).

Directions for Measuring: with the player’s arm fully extended and parallel to the floor, measure in inches from where the neck meets the shoulder to the tip of the middle finger.
